The service that allows you to rent your car has been officially launched: Perpetoo is available in four cities in Romania

The first person-to-person car sharing service in Romania, Perpetoo, is available starting this month in Bucharest and in 3 other major cities in the country: Cluj-Napoca, Iași and Timișoara.

The service is addressed to those who want to rent their cars, as well as to those who want to drive them for periods from a couple of hours to a maximum of 30 days.

Thus, those who want to list their car, as well as those who want to rent a car, will be able to do so on www.perpetoo.com, where they will have to create an account in the dedicated category, Owner or Driver respectively. The creation of the accounts and the use of the platform is free, the only cost being the rental fee, paid by those who want to rent a car. Payment will be made at the time of reservation confirmation.

The car owners, who list their vehicle for rental, set the rental rate themselves and benefit from CASCO insurance throughout the car rental period, offered by UNIQA Asigurări and Renomia SRBA Insurance Broker. In order to earn between 1,000 and 4,000 lei, the average monthly income estimated by the Perpetoo representatives, the car owners must take into account both the technical conditions of the car (the car should have a maximum of 8 + 1 seats, not be older than 10 years, to have the car review, the third party liability insurance (RCA) and the statutory technical inspections (ITP) up to date, to have a valid toll receipt and to be properly equipped), as well as the constant interaction with those who want to rent the car and who will contact them through the application. The owners shall accept the reservation request and its period, within 1-13 hours (depending on the time of Romania when the request is received) from the receipt of the request, before the reservation is considered confirmed.

On the other hand, those who want to rent a car will enjoy affordable rates and, in addition, will be able to choose exactly the car they want to drive.

Moreover, Perpetoo provides other advantages, such as the flexibility of the rental period and the reduction of bureaucracy due to the auto-filling documents directly in the application. Thus, when the owner of the car and the renter meet for the delivery of the vehicle, the rental process has already been completed, the only step left to do is only to inspect the condition of the car and to hand over the documents of the car together with a set of keys.

Company representatives estimate that, in the first year of activity, over 3,000 car owners will list on www.perpetoo.com one or several vehicles and, in terms of the number of rents, it will exceed 25,000.
